Kenneth J. Fortier, MD, FACOG

Dr. Ken Fortier is widely recognized throughout the Triangle as a premier provider of women’s healthcare. Known for his warm, individualized, patient-first approach, he has served on the faculty of Obstetrics & Gynecology at both Duke University and the UNC School of Medicine.

A graduate of Dartmouth College (summa cum laude) and Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. Fortier completed his OB/GYN residency training before joining the faculty at Duke University School of Medicine, where he earned a reputation for compassionate care and outstanding teaching. He later continued his career in private practice in Raleigh while serving as a Clinical Professor at the UNC School of Medicine.

Dr. Fortier founded Fortier Gynecology as an intentionally small, personal, and relationship-focused practice. Here, patients are truly known. They’re never rushed, never treated like a chart number, and always given the time and attention they deserve.
